Regularly Held - Orlando Community Dances!!!
There are regular monthly dances in the Orlando area that are open to the general public. Music style is mostly of the past 40 years. This unrestricted age group is generally middle aged and senior adults. Most are single. This dance community is made up mostly of church going people that enjoy wholesome dance activities and travel this circuit of dances throughout the month. The history of these dances have been primarily for single people. Over the past years however, many couples have married and continue to attend because of the many friendships that have been made over the years and love to sustain this worthy community activity. These dances have traditionally been open to all that will attend while respecting the original intent that this is held for single people. Other dance information is provided below to promote wholesome community social activities.

Ballroom Dance Lessons with the Dance Club of Central Florida
Every Sunday afternoon from 3:30 - 6:30 the Dance Club of Central Florida holds free dance lessons. The Dance Club of Central Florida is a non-profit organization that provides a nice and comfortable social atmosphere to new comers that desire to learn ballroom dance. Partners are not needed. The dance instruction is by free by volunteers in the community interested in teaching and promoting ballroom dance. Young and old alike participate side by side in lessons. A nominal contribution of about $5 for use of the building is asked at the door. Each week, two different styles of dance are taught from the beginning level to something more challenging for the regulars that come each week.
You can learn: Rumba, Tango, Mambo, Cha Cha, Bolero, Swing, Hustle, Waltz, Fox-Trot and more.
